If you would like fresh milk delivered to your door from just up the road, then How Now Dairy can oblige. Based between Avonwick and Ugborough, the dairy delivers their organic milk to Diptford on Mondays and Thursdays.
Milk is delivered in compostable pouches rather than bottles, and costs £2.05 per litre, which is equivalent to £1.16 per pint. This is 20% cheaper than the leading national doorstep milk delivery service (as at May 2024).
How Now Dairy milks its own herd of 40 cows and pasteurises and packages the milk on site. The milk is not homogenised. Cream spun off their semi-skimmed milk can be bought as delicious clotted cream.
