Diptford playing fields are on the road to Moreleigh just above Cross Farm. As well as a grass area, there is a hard Multi Use Games Area, playground, picnic table and shelter.
An acre of land for the playing fields was given to the village in memory of Yvonne Studd-Trench-Gascoigne of Diptford Court in 1977. The playing fields are now owned by the Amenity Trust.
